In the summer of 2026, on August 28th and 29th, in the central Piazza Matteotti in Greve in Chianti, Diego Stocco presented to the public for the first time "InventaSonico" —an original musical experience.
InventaSonico is presented as a sonic "place" populated by unusual musical instruments invented by Diego, accompanied by playful, educational and a bit magical stories that celebrate nature and the creatures inhabiting it, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and the use of recycled materials and objects. Some of the instruments were designed to be played also by visitors—requiring no prior musical experience—thereby sparking spontaneous musical moments filled with creative energy.
This inaugural edition of InventaSonico also included a concert featuring Diego Stocco and pianist Giovanni Vannoni, with special guests including percussionist Ettore Bonafe’ and singer Elena Degl’Innocenti, as well as the participation of the entire audience in various moments of the show.
Together, they played eclectic and dreamy pieces—primarily improvised—as if they were colorful soundtracks from imaginary films.
